On Sunday, we (watched a whole lot of DNC speeches, and then) went to Astoria to finally check out the Flavel House, which was really beautiful. I couldn’t believe the taxidermy bird display in one of the bedrooms. Then we drove down to Hug Point for the evening low tide, and we found all kinds of creatures (or ex-creatures).
