Ian’s mom, Diana, a very special person to me since I was about 13, died on Friday, September 18th. So, Colorado. I flew to Denver the following day. We went to Castlewood Canyon so Ian and Eric could pick out a spot to spread Diana’s ashes. Ian and I helped Eric move some stuff from his house he had just sold. I had Louie’s pizza with Nat’s parents. Ian and I went to Manitou and drove through Garden of the Gods. We spent a day in Monument, and we had dinner with Chris. I sat outside with Nat’s grandparents for a bit, and I went through boxes we left at his parents’ house. I went with Ian to Palmer Park for his mountain bike race. I got to watch him start, and then headed to the airport. That’s about all there is that I can say about that.
