We had a super packed Sunday the weekend we were in LA! We started out by going to the Old Trapper’s Lodge at Pierce College. I found out about the statues there from Roadside America, of course. They were neat to look at! Next, we went to the La Brea Tar Pits! We’d both wanted to go last time we were in LA, when we went to the Museum of Jurassic Technology instead. Volcano is one of Nathaniel’s favorite movies ever, so he was very excited. I really loved the animatronic animals inside the museum, and the display of dire wolf skulls. Per Julia’s recommendation, we had lunch at Gracias Madre, a vegan Mexican restaurant, where I had a CBD snowcone and we sat across from Tobey Maguire and his family 😂 Then we went to the Museum of Death, which was absolutely amazing. They are very strict about their “no photos” policy, and there’s no way I could remember everything I saw. There was so much fascinating stuff in there. I loved looking at the antique mortician apparatuses, and the room of animal specimens was amazing. Before starting the drive to Anaheim, we walked over to The Pie Hole, where I had a chocolate brownie pie PIEfait, which… I’m pretty sure it was my favorite thing I have eaten in my entire life. I was almost weeping. It was an awesome day!
