Honestly, the most important thing about our visit to Petland Memorial Gardens was that we met a cat as soon as we got there. I love seeing animals in pet cemeteries – it’s hard not to think of them as ghosts visiting their graves or the graves of their friends. This cat was so sweet we almost considered bringing her home with us. I also loved the little red berries that are scattered throughout the place, magically framing some of the lawn-level markers.

Three down, three to go!
