The first Sunday in June, we went back to the rose garden and it had finally started to bloom. I love this place so much; I am obsessed with the roses that look like perfect spheres on beds of a few flat petals. I pay just as much attention to the leaf color as the flower itself – such pretty, dull greens. Also, can you spot the bee bumbling around the pink/white flowers with yellow centers? Afterward, we went down to Milo McIver State Park since it was State Parks Day and we thought we’d try a new one. My favorite part was the Clackamas Fish Hatchery and all its great fish signs.

The next weekend, we went for a walk on Sauvie Island for the first time in a while and saw a bunch of frogs. And then I went to Colorado to surprise my family! I’m going to process those photos Wednesday – my last free Wednesday, since next month I start my full-time schedule at work! Lots of stuff goin on already this summer.
