Hey! Guess whose hard drive on the iMac crashed? It was ME! So I have not had a computer to process the pictures from Dan and Ashley’s visit since about the time they left. I have so much to go through.

Dan got in to Portland on a Thursday night and I went to pick him up on the Max. Early Friday morning, Nat left for the airport; he went to Colorado to go to the Hot Rod Hill Climb with his family. So Dan and I got coffee and pastries in Alberta, walked Cody on Sauvie Island, drove around a lot, had dinner at County Cork, and then went to Voodoo (my first time!). Saturday morning, we went to the Beaverton Farmers Market, then headed to Newport for the aquarium. It poured all day long! We went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory, walked on Cannon Beach in the dark, and stopped at Rock Creek for beers. Long day. Sunday, we drove to the airport to pick up Ash! The three of us got breakfast at Pine State, did the GONDOLA!, ate sushi, and killed time at IKEA since Dan’s plane to Colorado (/Nat’s airplane from Colorado, haha) was late getting in. Then I crieddd saying goodbye to my best friend ever.

Can you tell I had a great time because of how much open-mouth smiling I did? ? I loved having Dan here and showing him where I’ve lived the past year, and I’m so glad he and Ash got to be here together for a day. The two of them were my best friends when I was living in Denver. It was just like old times.
