The iMac’s graphics card went kaput a few weeks ago, so I haven’t been able to process any of the pictures I’ve been making. But the computer shop at Nat’s work set us up with a used one, and now this machine we’ve had since 2011 will hopefully make it another couple years. So this is catching up from a couple weekends ago, when Johnathan and I explored some Sauvie Island spots and Nat and I ventured down to Rockaway Beach to try the new Ponto Pup there (they were out of veggie, so Nat had cheese, pickle, and zucchini pups).

I don’t think I’ve written about this here yet–that sea green baby is my new vehicle. Gwennie, the Wagoneer I bought in November, has needed way more work than we initially imagined, and she won’t be drive-able for a while to come, so I bought myself a 1990 Volvo 240 (identical to my first car, Ron, that I loved more than a person should love a car, probably). I don’t do much driving, and I’m not crazy about for the first time being the person in the family to have two cars to her name, but I’ve been surprised by how comfortable this car makes me feel driving again, how much I feel like I belong in it, my absolute adoration for it. I’m a Volvo gal for life. You could tattoo a 240 on me.
