I think this is the first Christmas EVER that we’ve spent outside of Colorado and away from our whole families. It’s pretty weird, and there’s no snow (that’s not just Oregon, of course), but my sister is here and we fell asleep watching A Christmas Story last night and this morning we opened gifts while watching Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and now we’re watching Elf and getting ready to go up Mt Hood and then have dinner in Hood River. And it’s our first Christmas as Oregon residents, which is pretty cool.

This year’s handmade finger puppet for our friends was Rudolph, and I think they’re super cute. Plus there’s a sneak peek at my new bb, the one I wish was taking us up the mountain today since we spent hours cleaning its interior this week and it looks soooo nice, but it needs a Jeep doctor pretty badly.

Happy Holidays to you, family and friends! I have mixed feelings about Christmas this year but there are still many great things about this season.
