I am happy to say that today, six weeks after we packed up our iMac for storage/moving, I got to work on processing images on it for a few hours :) I’m surrounded by boxes to unpack and piles to sort through, but I escaped to the almost-fully-set-up office to catch up a little and process these pictures from Wild Animal Safari in Strafford, MO, which we visited on our trip to the Ozarks in June. I’m hoping to not fall too far behind, here… We also don’t have internet yet, so I’m using my phone as a hotspot and I don’t even want to think about how much data I’m using…

This trip was almost two months ago now. I’ve been looking forward to going through these pictures since I knew it was where I’d have to leave off until we got settled in Oregon. Nathaniel is pretty sure this is the drive-through safari he went to on trips to Branson as a kid? He told me about it when we were at Wild Wilderness in Arkansas in the fall. That white alpaca’s face is the softest surface I have ever touched, baby Brahma cows are so sad-looking and cute, and we really, really fell in love with those goats.

On a related note, here’s Nathaniel’s video of when we went to Rolling Hills Zoo. 0:35 is my favorite part c:
