Amidst packing and days of garage sales at our house, we realized one day that, right above our front door, there was a nest of baby wrens that were getting ready to fly. We watched them take off and fly around the front yard and in and out of the garage… and unfortunately into Nat’s oil pan. We did our best to clean the little guy off, and by the end of the day, he seemed to be flying alright.

We took our boat out to the fishing lake one last time before we sold it, took one last walk to the I-70 bridge, and made one last trip to the KU Natural History Museum, my favorite place in all of Kansas. It was a little bit hard to say goodbye. And that’s where my lens’s focus stopped working, so these are the last photos I took on my DSLR until this past week! So, really all caught up now.
