Nat and Johnathan and I went to the coast one awesomely gloomy day a couple weeks ago. We parked at Indian Beach, walked up to get a good view of Tilly, then scrambled on the rocks looking for little creatures. Since we were all prepared for a hike, we made it over some tall rocks, farther than Nat and I ever had, and climbed down to a secluded beach, Indian Beach 2.0, if you will. And that’s where we hung out, ate lunch, walked along the water, marveled at the foggy coastline, got knocked over hard by a mindless running dog (that was just me, and both my knees are still seriously bruised). It was such a perfect afternoon. Next, we did the hike down to Crescent Beach, where we explored caves and ran away from the tide. Cody chased seagulls with some serious determination. We just might lose him one day when he climbs a giant rock and the tide comes in. Some photos by Johnathan ♥

Tomorrow is my first day at my new job, and my parents get in to town for a long visit! After spending almost every day the past few weeks at home, it feels like life is jump-starting this week.
