It’s that time of year again, for sunflowers and our anniversary. Last Tuesday was our eight years, and since we had Monday off, we went out to the Grinters’ Sunflower Farm and then to KC (to take a picture by the Bob Jones Shoes wall and) to see Ghostbusters at the Alamo Drafthouse. We also did cheese and chocolate fondue and gifts. Not our usual handmade gifts, but still really, really good ones :)

I honestly don’t know how the sunflower attraction got started, but we’ve been doing this a few years now. 2013, 2012, 2011. It’s fun to watch hair and beard lengths and tattoos change and our little faces grow up. Speaking of, my hair is different now than even in these pictures. I got tiny bangs cut again on Friday. No more hair curtain.

Also, recently our friend Levi made a sweet post on his blog with the pictures he made at our wedding. As if the reports of how much rain Colorado’s been getting this summer weren’t enough–I really miss that forest.
