Not that school starting is a big deal for me since my program is all online, but Nat and I still thought we’d do something fun the “last weekend of summer.” Nat has always wanted to go, so we drove toward St. Louis to camp at Meramec Caverns. It’s pretty tourist-y, which we actually love, so we had a great time. We took an hour-long tour and often got left in the dark taking pictures, since they switch off the lights after you make it through each section. These amazing optical illusions were created by the lights, making the two-foot water look super deep. We camped there Saturday night and did some other neat stuff in the area in the morning before heading to St. Louis to hang out with Megan (walked Cody before things opened for breakfast, and found that amazing armadillo shell!), which I’ll post pictures of next…
