Nat was in Colorado last weekend taking care of some wedding things, so I mostly hung out at home getting projects done. Pictures of: tree buds and little grasses trying to grow in our backyard despite piles and piles of leaves and acidic acorns hindering them; a big tree chunk, soon to be carved; a raccoon (?) skull I found by the lake in Baldwin; a turtle shell I found in the Wetlands; the bat I had put in a salt bath last summer that I finally remembered to revisit; my grandparents’ wedding pictures to be reprinted; a sleeping Candy; a sleeping Moon. I’ve been looking back at pictures from last April and getting really excited to start taking care of our crummy little yard, hopefully this weekend! Maybe this year we can make some more grass grow.
Nathaniel got a GoPro and made videos of his whole trip so I could feel like I was there, too! You can watch them on his Vimeo. Day 3 is my favorite :) I can’t wait to get married at that property.

I love that the subjects of the pictures are so simple, but you captured them in such a beautiful, creative way! Especially the cats :)
