We did have some really, really good times in the forest last month. There is nothing like Nathaniel’s mom’s home-cooked meals, and Cody could run around their property for days. My dad came over to see the house for the first time and talk about wedding things with us. There are some pictures in there from a night having Nathaniel’s grandpa’s delicious ribs with family friends who lost their home in the fire, too.

I don’t know when we’ll be back next, but full-blown wedding mode is starting to take over me, and planning a wedding from a state away isn’t ideal. So for that and other reasons I’m crossing my fingers we’ll be in Colorado again before Christmas. Until then, overcast, rainy, gloomy Eastern Kansas is gorgeous, and I’m perfectly happy doing puzzles and crafts with Nat any chance I get.

July was so busy! Aside from Italy, it’s my Flickr set with the most images since I started hosting them there.
