These pictures are from the natural history museum on the KU campus in Lawrence, KS. Nathaniel and I had been here once before, last summer, on our road trip from Western New York to Colorado, specifically to see the “real jackalopes” in their collection. When we got there last summer, the sixth floor, the one with the jackalope display, was closed for renovation. Nathaniel convinced someone to take us up there just to see them, but all the other displays were covered up. This was the first time I got to see everything on the sixth floor. I was honestly in tears, I was so overwhelmed and so HAPPY. This museum is easily my favorite place in the world.
More things to come ;)
