A couple weekends ago, Nat and I drove to Westminster to meet with someone from the graduate program I am considering doing. It’s been so gorgeous outside lately (the usual sunny days mixed in with a good handful of wonderfully rainy, gloomy days) and everything is so green and lush, for Colorado.
Also pictured: the beautiful ring Nat got me for my birthday, driving back from Fort Collins for my best friend Ian’s graduation from CSU (traffic on the way back was so bad we had to go to Boulder to Golden to home, and since we’ve gotten so much rain lately the drive from Boulder to Golden was even more beautiful than usual), the burial of the baby rabbits in our house’s side yard, and Mother’s Day in the Springs, where Nat’s mom showed us the work she has been doing on their property.
Tomorrow we are embarking on a last-minute weekend trip to Kansas to check out towns. I’m excited and terrified and have packing and dishes and a cat litter box to address. Perhaps we’ll have big news when we get home!
